Joseph Daley, MD, FCCPM
Medical Director, Sleep Solutions
Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Daley received his medical training in San Antonio, Texas with the US Air Force and at Penn State University. Following a time on the faculty at Penn State, Dr. Daley joined Pulmonary Consultants in 2004. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Daley is Medical Director of Sleep Solutions of Southwest Florida, our state-of-the-art sleep medicine service.
Janice CombsM
Office Manager
In addition to managing the practice, Janice is also a medical assistant for over 44 years now, a physician credential specialist and a member of HMA. Originally from New York, she’s lived in Florida for over 50 years. Before she joined Pulmonary Consultants of Southwest Florida over 23 years ago, she was a medical assistant with Lee Physicians Group. She has been in the medical field since 1977. Given her longevity in patient care, it’s obvious Janice loves what she does.
Fred Schultz, RRT, RPSGTM
Sleep Lab Director
Fred has an extensive background in treating sleep disorders as a registered respiratory therapist. Prior to joining the team here, he worked in the Sleep Lab at SWFL Regional Hospital where he also performed Nerve Conduction Studies. He has been a Clinical Instructor at Edison College and a Lead Technologist with Auchor Sleep Labs. Fred is an active member of the National Board for Respiratory Care and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Karen Batten, LPNM
Licensed Practicing Nurse
Karen has been caring for our patients here since 1995 and has an even longer history in the medical field. For the past 38 years, Karen has been an LPN here in Florida as well as Virginia. Her focus is excellence of care as well as continuity of care. It is very important to her to take care of patients’ needs as well as educate them on their medical issues.
Stacy Pouliot, CRTM
Certified Respiratory Therapist
Stacy performs complete pulmonary function testing for our patients. Originally from Fort Myers, Stacy graduated from Edison Community College with a degree in respiratory therapy in 2005. Since 1995, she has worked in our local hospitals, local home health organizations and medical equipment companies which provided her a better understanding of the day-to-day life challenges faced by patients with pulmonary conditions.
Jessica Salinas, CMAM
Certified Medical Assistant
Jessica has been a medical assistant since 2013 and joined Pulmonary Consultants in 2018. Her patients are her top priority, making sure they feel comfortable, taking their vitals and preparing them for their visits with Dr. Daley. She is a South Florida native who has lived in the Fort Myers area since 2008. She looks forward to working with the team at Pulmonary Consultants of Southwest Florida for many years to come.
Camilla Da SilvaM
Administrative Assistant
A recent addition to our team, Camilla was born in Brazil and speaks fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese. She moved to the United States when she was only 12 years old. Camilla went on to study medical billing at Dover Business College in New Jersey, where she lived for 12 years before moving to Florida in 2004. She’s been working in the medical field for over 13 years and loves working with patients.
